Conference of Capital Management Representatives of BDCC at it’s member Companies; Review of Production and Business Activities in the first quarter, Task Performance for the second quarter of 2013

Attended and directed the meeting were Mr Nguyen Huy Hoan – Party Secretary, Chaiman of Members Council of the Corporation, Mr Pham Tien Hung – General Director of the Corporation, attending the meeting were members of the Party Standing Committee, Council members, Deputy General Directors, Chairman of trade Union, Controller, Chief Accountant, comptrollers, Chief and vice chief of Party office, heads and deputy heads of all departments, Chairmen of Management Boards, directors, vice directors of member Companies, headmaster, vice headmaster of Hai Phong Technical Professional school


 

The reports on review of production and business activities in the first quarter, task performance for the second quarter of 2013 were heard at the Conference. Accordingly, the world economic situation is so complicated, the domestic economy continues to face many difficulties, investment loan has not been open, several public investment projects are still in the loan program suspension, and frozen real estate market has had a large impact on production and business activities of enterprises in the construction industry; In the first quarter, due to the long holiday period caused troubles to the big important projects of the Corporation, especially the mobilization of the workforce back to work after the New Year holiday. In this situation, the Corporation has focused on management and direction to overcome difficulties and fulfill the plan, the specific result of the production and business in the first quarter of 2013 from parent Company and its subsidiaries increased by 7% compared with the same period in 2012. Especially some of the member Companies reached high targets such as: Construction Joint Stock Company No.204, Bach Dang Import Export Construction Joint Stock Company, but there were some of companies reached low targets such as: Bach Dang 4 Construction Joint Stock Company, Bach Dang 8 Construction Joint Stock Company, Bach Dang TMC Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.

The reports on review of performing the tasks of capital management representatives of the Corporation at its member Companies in 2012, and financial plan of 2013. Accordingly, majority of capital management representatives of the Corporation at member Companies have complied with the implementation of the Enterprise Law, action regulation of capital management representatives of the Corporation at member Companies and other current regulations during the management and direction process. And they have also been promoting autonomy in directing and managing their own Companies to complete the production and business activities in 2012.

Mrs Luong Thi Thuy – Chief Accountant of the Corporation made report presentation on capital management at member Companies

Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoan – Chairman of Members Council of the Corporation required member Companies to pay attention to: Promoting the management to reduce administrative and production costs, especially the costs of materials and supplies, business management cost; Accelerating the recovery of capital, debt collection, increase capital turnover; Having a specific plan for loans, raising capital for each period, making plans for loan repayment to reduce cost, seeking low interest loan; Considering suitable investment opportunities with early repayment ability and be effective; regularly report on the action and problems in the managing process of production and business activities at member Companies.

To conclude the meeting, Mr Pham Hung – General Director of the Corporation in recognized the efforts of leaders and staff employee of member Companies, Especially some of the member Companies reached high targets such as: Construction Joint Stock Company No.204, Bach Dang 234 Construction Joint Stock Company , Hai Long Construction Joint Stock Company.  Import Export Construction Joint Stock Company. He also replied to petition and suggested measures to solve the difficulties with each member Company and  required the leaders of member Companies to be more drastic in the managing, implementing the requirements of the projects in construction and accelerate marketing for new jobs, particularly focus on the construction market, BOT projects, and the projects funded from the World Bank, and FDI …

Mr Pham Hung – General Director of the Corporation made a speech for Conference conclusion

To fulfill the plan of production and business in the second quarter and the task of production and business in 2013, , leaders of the Corporation considers the construction work accounts for major proportion in the Corporatio’s production and business and he required member Companies to focus on od execution of construction projects, especially in key projects such as Vung Ang Thermal Power Plant, Mong Duong thermal power Plant and  member Companies should focus on accelerating marketing for new jobs, new projects, striving to achieve the whole year plan targets outlined.
