Vietnam lden Star Award appreciates Vietnamese values, honors the national pride, and raises the awareness of businesses in the international economic integration. Concurrently, it dignifies the businesses of stable development, permanent labor force number and high responsibility for laborers and society.

After 3 rounds of scientific, clear, democratic and close selection, The Organizer Board selected 200 typical brands to present Vietnam lden Star Award 2015, other titles as TOP 10, TOP 100, TOP 200 and 10 businesses of high responsibility for society. It was joined by a lot of big brands, such as Petro Vietnam, Vingroup, Truong Hai auto, Hoa Phat group, Hoa Sen group, etc. The award once again confirms the trade name of successful businesses.

BDCC is a big business belonging to Ministry of Construction. The Corporation’s main activities are in building sector (building execution of civil works, industrial works, traffics, irrigation works, hydropower works, electricity lines and transformer stations, urban infrastructure technical projects, industrial zones) in the whole country. In its nearly 60 years of building and development, BDCC have been present in almost important national projects, such as Cement plants of Hoang Thach, Hoang Mai, Bim Son, But Son, Ninh Thuy, La Hien, etc., Refinery factories of Dung Quat, Nghi Son, Thermal power plants of Pha Lai, Uong Bi, Vung Ang, Mong Duong, Thai Binh, Vinh Tan, etc., Transportation projects of National Road No10, National Road No18, National Road No 21-2, National Road No 2C, lengthened Road No 5, etc., and other sewage disposal projects in Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, etc. Encountering these projects’ execution work, BDCC always complete all projects’ requests, meeting the demands of progress, quality and labor safety and hygiene, winning the high appreciation from Investors and Supervising consultants. Therefore, BDCC always win the trust of the clients, partners of big groups in country and the foreign.

During the last years, when the world and the area economy have encountered lot of difficulties, they have especially affected badly on domestic construction industry. However, together with the creativity and activeness of leaders’ board, od engineers and skillful workers, BDCC determined to overcome difficulties and kept remained on Top big businesses under the control of MOC with a stable year-by-year growth. Moreover, BDCC performed very well duties of military, local defense, gratitude-showing activities and social security. For these special achievements, BDCC was awarded Excellent Emulation Flag in 4 successive years from 2011-2014 by Prime Minister. For BDCC’s positive contribution to build and develop the country, BDCC was selected to be of TOP 100 Typical Businesses to receive Viet Nam lden Star Award 2015.

Organizer Board’s statistics showed that 200 awarded businesses of this time t the total revenue of over 839,000 VND Billion, paying over 91,000 VND billion to state budget and brought jobs to 250,000 laborers.

Mr. Bui Van Quan, Chairman of Vietnam Young Business Association claimed that after 12-year deploying, there has been 1,720 turns of brands of Vietnam lden Star Award t honored and they have been charismatic and competitive brands, trademarks of all fields.
“Since 2003, after 12 years, Vietnam lden Star Award has become one of charismatic programs of brand selection and popularization with big size in Vietnam, getting high recognition and appreciation from society, community, businesses and entrepreneurs. 200 brands were awarded when Vietnam economy is on the way to fast, deep and comprehensive integration. Thus, in order to keep up with the integration trend, the awarded businesses have to push forward to catch this trend”, stated Mr. Bui Van Quan.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc recognized the achievements and congratulated the businesses winning the award this time. The award dignified the spirit of young businesses’ bravery to think and to work as well as encouraged businesses to bring Vietnamese trademarks into the world. Deputy Prime Minister claimed that the country was in integration with world economy which created both chances and challenges.

Therefore, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested businesses to improve their competitive competence, renew their technology, and raise their labor productivity to keep stable in competitive environment, taking best advantages of integration./.
