Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan is speaking in the Ceremony

Vietnamese-German University is built on a land area of over 50 hectares in Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province. The Project has a total investment of over 200 million USD, with 180.4 million USD of soft loans from the International Development Association (IDA) and 20.2 million USD of reciprocal capital from the vernment. The Project consists Learning area, Library area, Student Dormitory area, Lecturer Dormitory area, Administrative area and other service facilities satisfying the training for 12.000 students.

Bach Dang Construction Corporation-JSC is a Contractor in charge of the construction of Package CP1A – The first Package as a basis for the construction of Vietnamese-German University with a total value of over 200 billion VND. The Package consists of work items: Construction of technical infrastructure, ground leveling, traffic road, technical operation building. Construction duration is 13 months.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan affirmed that Vietnamese-German University is an extremely special university, is established on a basis of international cooperation between Vietnamese vernment and Federal Republic of German, aims to perform the vernment’s policy to build several numbers of excellent universities offering high quality training and research programs meeting international and regional standards, distributing for the education modernization in Vietnam. The university is considered a symbol of a long traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Federal Republic of German.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Representative of Construction Contractor – Mr. Nguyen Trong Khai – General Director of Bach Dang Construction Corporation-JSC undertook to mobilize sufficient manpower, equipment for construction of the Project in accordance with required quality, schedule, work safety and sanitation of the Project.
