Project Contact Nghi Son petrochemical complex with total investment under the investment certificate is now $ 9 billion, of which the investments are: Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) accounted for 25.1 % International Petroleum company, Kuwait (KPI / KPE) 35.1%, Idemitsu Kosan Co., Japan (IKC) 35.1%, Mitsui Chemical company of Japan (MCI) by 4.7%.

Contact Nghi Son petrochemical complex to be built in the Nghi Son Economic Zone, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province. Refining capacity is expected to reach 200 thousand barrels / day (equivalent to 10 million tons / year) and the material resources of crude oil imports from Kuwait.

Partnership building contractor project company JGC (Japan) leader and other contractors as Chiyoda (Japan), GS E & C (Korea), SK E & C (Korea), Technip France (France), and Technip Geoproduction (Malaysia).
