General Director Pham Tien Hung participated in the ribbon cutting at Boiler 1A Steam Drum Lifting Ceremony

1A Steam Drum weighs 164 tons, 23m long, 3.25 m high, 1.8 m diameter was pulled to a height of 60m by strand jack lifting system and successfully installed into a safe position.

This is an important equipment of thermal power plant; The installation of Boiler 1A was 01 month earlier than expected after fabrication. Unit 1 of Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant with capacity of 1.080MW is expected to be completed and put into use in the first quarter of 2015.

At the Boiler 1A Steam Drum Lifting Ceremony, EVN Employer and Hyundai general contractor showed gratitude and appreciated the cooperation of Bach Dang Construction Corporation’s staff employees. According to HDEC general contractor, the project has reached 47% of work at the site, striving to reach 65% of work in 2013. BDCC is the contractor of Turbine and Boiler – heart of the Plant.
