Khánh thành 2 bến khởi động Cảng cửa ngõ quốc tế Hải Phòng

Chiều ngày 13/5/2018, trong không khí tưng bừng kỷ niệm 63 năm ngày giải phóng Hải Phòng, tại Lạch Huyện, Công ty TNHH Cảng container quốc tế Hải Phòng (HICT) phối hợp với UBND thành phố Hải Phòng tổ chức khánh thành Cảng công-ten-nơ quốc tế Hải Phòng, đón chuyến tàu chở công-ten-nơ đầu tiên vào làm hàng. Đó là con tàu Wan Hai 517 của Công ty Wan Hai Lines (Đài Loan) có sức chở 58.000 tấn, chở hơn 4.600 teu công-ten-nơ cập cảng và là con tàu chở công-ten-nơ lớn nhất từ trước đến nay cập cảng biển Hải Phòng. Đến dự có các đồng chí: Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Thủ tướng Chính phủ; Ngài Tsukasa Akimoto, Bộ trưởng Bộ Đất đai Hạ tầng Giao thông và Du lịch Nhật Bản; Ngài Kunio Umeda, Đại sứ đặc mệnh toàn quyền Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam cùng đại diện lãnh đạo các bộ, ban ngành trung ương; đại diện lãnh đạo một số tỉnh, thành phố; Về phía thành phố có các đồng chí: Lê Văn Thành, Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Thành ủy, Chủ tịch HĐND thành phố; Nguyễn Thị Nghĩa, Phó bí thư Thường trực Thành ủy, Trưởng đoàn đại biểu Quốc hội Hải Phòng; Nguyễn Văn Tùng, Chủ tịch UBND thành phố; các đồng chí trong Ban Thường vụ Thành ủy, các Phó chủ tịch UBND thành phố; lãnh đạo thành phố qua các thời kỳ; đại diện chủ đầu tư…Về phía Tổng công ty có các đồng chí: Nguyễn Trọng Khải – Tổng giám đốc, Lưu Hồng Giang – Phó Tổng giám đốc cùng lãnh đạo các Phòng ban Tổng công ty.

Nghi lễ cắt băng khánh thành Cảng Container quốc tế Hải Phòng

Ngày 12/5/2016, Cảng công-ten-nơ quốc tế Hải Phòng được khởi công xây dựng trên đảo Cát Hải (huyện Cát Hải) và hoàn thành sau 2 năm xây dựng. Cảng có diện tích 44,9 ha bãi, với 2 bến công-ten-nơ dài 750 m, có thể tiếp nhận tàu chở đến 14.000 teu công-ten-nơ hoặc tàu tổng hợp tải trọng lên đến 160.000 tấn. Cảng còn có 2 bến sà lan dài 150 m, tiếp nhận tàu chở dầu và sà lan chở công-ten-nơ đến 160 teu…góp phần tích cực vào thành tích trên, Tổng công ty Xây dựng Bạch Đằng – nhà thầu thi công gói thầu CP3: Xây lắp đường bãi, cây xanh khu đường bãi, hệ thống thoát nước, hệ thống cấp nước, trạm xử lý nước thải, khu gom chất thải có mái che, hệ thống PCCC thuộc dự án Đầu tư xây dựng công trình Cảng cửa ngõ quốc tế Hải Phòng – Hợp phần B, luôn xác định tầm quan trọng của dự án và trách nhiệm của nhà thầu trong công tác thi công, do vậy nhà thầu Tổng công ty đã không quản ngày đêm, tập trung toàn diện về thiết bị, nhân lực nhằm để hoàn thành công trình theo yêu cầu của chủ đầu tư.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, Thủ tướng Chính phủ Nguyễn Xuân Phúc ghi nhận, đánh giá cao và biểu dương nỗ lực phấn đấu của chủ đầu tư, các nhà thầu thi công, của các Bộ, ngành Trung ương và thành phố Hải Phòng, cùng sự chia sẻ, ủng hộ của người dân bị ảnh hưởng bởi dự án, tạo điều kiện cho dự án hoàn thành thi công theo đúng cam kết.

Đồng chí Bí thư Thành ủy Lê Văn Thành phát biểu nhấn mạnh: Đưa vào khai thác cảng công-ten-nơ tại Lạch Huyện đã mở ra hướng phát triển mới của Hải Phòng. Từ cảng biển truyền thống chỉ có thể khai thác tàu khoảng 40.000 tấn, đến nay có thể đón được những con tàu từ 100.000 đến 150.000 tấn tạo động lực phát triển không chỉ cho Hải Phòng, mà còn cả miền Bắc, từng bước đưa Cảng biển Hải Phòng phát triển hơn nữa, trở thành cảng tầm cỡ trong khu vực và trên thế giới.
