On November 18, 2023, Bach Dang Construction Corporation – Joint Stock Company organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to upgrade and restore the landscape of the Than Tho Lake Tourist Area, Flower and light Delight Park in Da Lat. This is a significant project aimed at honoring the cultural, historical, and tourism values of the city of thousand flowers. The project is located in the Than Tho Lake Tourist Area, Ward 9, and Ward 12 of Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. The project is undertaken by Thuy Duong Co., Ltd as the investor, with Bach Dang Construction Corporation as the general contractor, and it has a total value exceeding VND 470 billion.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Mr. Duong Van Them, General Director of Bach Dang Construction Corporation – Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Hong Cuong, Deputy Director of the Steering Committee for the Sương Mai Lake Project, Đồi Tùng Nguyên Đà Lạt – Thuy Duong Co., Ltd, along with numerous local leaders, representatives from relevant authorities, strategic partners, and members of the media.
The project covers a total area of 118 hectares, including items such as Reception Area, Restaurants, Services, Cultural and Event Conference Center, Lotus Conference Center, Executive Office – Company Office, Iconic Structure (scenic tower), Entertainment Area for Children and Adults, Existing Cultural House, Multi-level Parking, Technical Infrastructure System, Square, and facilities serving tourists.
The project is expected to give a new face to the Than Tho Lake Tourist Area, creating an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists visiting Da Lat. It also contributes to the preservation and promotion of the city’s natural and cultural heritage.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the project attracted the participation of many local leaders, representatives from relevant authorities, strategic partners, and the media.
It is expected that Phase 1 of the project will be completed by September 30, 2024. With the participation of Bach Dang Construction Corporation – Joint Stock Company as the general contractor and various partners, the Than Tho Lake Tourist Area, Flower Park, and Delight Park in Da Lat promise to become a new icon of tourism in Da Lat in the future.
