On 14/5/2018 afternoon, Hai Phong People’s Committee held the Grand opening ceremony of Package No.12 – Construction of road sub-grade, surface, pavement and technical infrastructure power system along The Lu road under Investment Project of Rehabilitation of Tam Bac river (the section from Lac Long bridge to Tam Bac park).

Attending the ceremony was Mr. Le Van Thanh – Central Party Committee member, Hai Phong Party Committee Secretary, Hai Phong People’s Council Chairman, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nghia –  Hai Phong Party Committee Permanent Vice Secretary, Head of Hai Phong Parliamentary Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung – Hai Phong People’s Committee Chairman, other members of Hai Phong Standing Party Committee, Hai Phong People’s Committee Vice Chairmen, leaders of city services and departments with former leaders of the city. Project of Rehabilitation of Tam Bac River includes main items as upgrading, dredging Tam Bac river bed down to 2.1 – 2.5m, 1.1 – 1.5m deeper than present, opening the river bed from 58m to 63m; embankment with reinforcement concrete on two sides, The Lu road is widened from 7m to 8m, 700m longer than present, Tam Bac road is widened from 11m to 18m. Tam Bac road and The Lu road is paved with stone, equipped with lighting system and green trees… in harmony with city central range. This is one of city major projects which shall contribute to build Hai Phong a modern, civilizing, green port city in early future once completed.

Package No.12 includes main items: Construction of road sub-grade, surface, pavement and technical infrastructure power system, along The Lu road. It is one of important works under Project of Rehabilitation of Tam Bac river.
